Twelve 5th and 6th grade students participated in a spelling bee this morning at the high school in Hills. The top six students move on to the Southwest Minnesota Regional Spelling Bee on April 22. Those students were Malachi Bush, Makaylie Voss, Kaleb Olson, Trinity Olson, Ryker Gehrke and Penni Moore. Also participating in today's bee were Ryker Peterson, Arya Tollefson, Chey Kraayenhof, Brekyn Klarenbeek, Gavin Harnack and Eva Hubbard.
