The 6th Grade Choir, under the direction of Mr. Court Anderson, went to the Tuff Home to perform for the residents. Some of the songs included, "Amazing Grace", "God Bless America", "My Bonny Lies Over the Ocean", and "Someone's in the Kitchen with Dinah". It was a great opportunity and experience for all!
Friday, March 13, is H-BC Elementary Kindergarten Round Up! Students, planning to attend Kindergarten next year, will have a full day of learning and fun. Current Kindergarten Students DO NOT have class tomorrow.
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade students who proudly represented Hills-Beaver Creek on March 4 at the Canton Festival Band Day in Canton!
We are proud of these students for sharing their musical talents and representing H-BC so well. Great job!
The 8th grade music students in Mr. Anderson’s class took a quick brain break with a collaborative teamwork game. Students worked together to take a lap while making sure they didn’t drop the marker!
There was plenty of teamwork, laughter, and fun as students supported each other to complete the challenge. It’s safe to say they had a blast! 😄
The HBC Knowledge Bowl team crushed it at sub-regions at Minnesota West in Worthington on Monday. Four teams with 16 patriots spent the day answering trivia questions spanning math, agriculture, chemistry, english, foreign language, geography and current events. A massive shoutout to the powerhouse team of Tryg, Josh, Gavin, and Sarah for earning a 3rd place finish! They have a qualifying spot at the next level. They’re back at the buzzers TODAY at SMSU in Marshall for the Region 8 Super Regional contest.
