Huge congratulations to our HBC Boys Track & Field Team! These outstanding athletes went head-to-head with some of the top competitors in the state at the MSHSL State Track & Field Meet. Senior Beau Bakken placed 13th in the Shot Put. Senior Jackson Gacke earned 14th in the Discus Throw. The 4x100 Relay Team shattered the HBC school record during state prelims with an incredible time of 44.04! What a YEAR for HBC Patriots Girls Track & Field! 🏃‍♀️🔥 STATE CHAMP ALERT: Sophomore Brynn Bakken is your Minnesota STATE CHAMPION in both the 100m and 200m! 💥 Sophomore Ava Steinhoff soared to a 7th place finish in the high jump, and the 4x100 relay team—made up of 8th grader Trinity Olson, sophomore Ava Steinhoff, junior Abigail Harris, and sophomore Brynn Bakken—raced to an impressive 7th place in the finals. The Girls State Track Team placed 7th overall as a team, and multiple school records were shattered throughout the season! 📈 We couldn’t be prouder of these incredible student-athletes and our amazing coaching staff. Congratulations to Junior Abby Olson on an incredible MSHSL State Golf appearance! Abby represented HBC with PRIDE finishing 52nd out of 86 of the top golfers in the state. She improved her score in the second round, shooting a 97 after a 99 in round one, for a two-day total of 196. Way to go, Abby — great job representing HBC at STATE! State Track & Field, State Trap & International Robotics Send-Off is scheduled for tonight, Monday, June 9, 2025. Teams will be leaving 8 PM from HBC Secondary!
