





The Class of 2027 Juniors pulled off an incredible victory over the 2026 Seniors in last night’s 2025 Homecoming Powderpuff Game! 🎉
It was a thrilling back-and-forth battle from start to finish, but the Juniors edged out the Seniors in a nail-biter, taking home the win 28–27. 👏

HBC Trap Team Update - Students interested in joining the 2026 Spring Trap team must have completed the MN Hunter Safety Class.
Next In-Person Hunter Safety Class is Oct 6,7,9,13,14,16 from 7pm-9pm. Field Day Oct 18 from 9am to 12pm. All classes are required attendance to receive certificate.

Elementary (LPA & Grades 1-5) Open House 5:30-7:30pm
(Kindergarten students do not have an open house on the 27th due to their scheduled conferences on September 2. K students are welcome to come take their back to school picture on the 27th, otherwise there will be additional opportunities)

Grade 5 Band - An Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, for all students interested. Popplers Music from Sioux Falls will be at H-BC Elementary during the open house from 6-7 PM in the music room with Mrs. Comp. Families can chat with a Popplers representative and get their instrument lease-to-own during this time if interested!
Secondary (6-12) Open House 5:30-7:30pm
Students can pick up schedules, get Chromebook (grades 9-12) and meet their teachers. Students can also put items in their locker.
6th grade students & families meeting at 7:00-7:30 pm in secondary gymnasium - Hills.
No Pictures at HBC Secondary tonight.
