Congratulations to the two Knowledge Bowl teams who competed at the Super Regional event at SMSU in Marshall today.
They completed a 50 question written test and 4 rounds of questions, finishing the day with scores at 79 and 80.
Congratulations to freshman Ryker, Kaleb, Gavin and Nic and 8th graders Penni, Nora, Betty, Kristina and 7th grader Grace. Way to represent H-BC!

BIG SHOUT OUT to our Intro to Medical Career students & teacher - Ms. Kate Anderson! 5 HBC students take this class during Period 1 & 2 at MN West in Luverne throughout first semester along with students from Luverne, Pipestone & Adrian.
Students in our Intro to Medical Careers class are exploring a wide range of healthcare pathways while building essential skills for the medical field. On Tuesday the students were engaged with hands-on lessons - students worked in cooperative groups to identify body parts and play interactive games to review key medical terminology.
Ms. Kate Anderson does a phenomenal job creating engaging learning experiences that help students discover which health career path they may pursue after high school. In the second semester, students will job shadow at healthcare facilities across the tri-state area, gaining valuable real-world exposure to medical careers.

What a night at H-BC Community Night with the Sioux Falls Skyforce Game this afternoon!
Our student-musicians brought the talent and energy all afternoon—Pep Band before tipoff, a powerful National Anthem from our 8–12 Grade Choir, and an electric HBC Drumline performance at halftime.
The highlights didn’t stop there! Mr. Anderson made a surprise appearance on the court with Skyforce mascot Thunder to 'MAKE SOME NOISE', a jaw-dropping halftime act featured a man balancing a ladder on his chin, and Mr. Kellenberger & Joe rocked out on the Jumbotron with an epic air-guitar performance.
Well done HBC Band & Choir & Drumline! Thank you to our ELITE Band & Vocal Music Directors - Ms. Comp & Mr. Anderson!
