Our robotics teams just wrapped up an incredible trip competing at WAFFLE in Massachusetts, and we couldn't be prouder. Both teams performed well at the competition, but more importantly, every single student was deeply impacted by the experience, the friendships, and the learning.
Brick Wall 2.0, was recognized with the Motivate Award! This award celebrates a team that truly embraces the culture of FIRST LEGO League through incredible team building, unmatched team spirit, and endless enthusiasm. H-BC's Eelectric Engineers won the same award at last year's WAFFLE competition.

Exciting News for Hills-Beaver Creek and the HBC Track & Field Program after earning its first ever STATE CHAMPIONSHIP - 2026 GIRLS CLASS A STATE CHAMPIONS!
HBC has been truly blessed with incredible support for this important project. Thanks to the outstanding leadership and generosity of Kristi Metzger (HBC Class of 1993), this vision is becoming a reality. Kristi secured a $150,000 grant from the Lyon County Riverboat Foundation and has personally contributed an amazing $250,000 toward the project. In addition, the district has pledged $100,000 to help bring this opportunity to our students and community.
We are deeply grateful for Kristi’s commitment, leadership, and continued investment in HBC. Her generosity is making a lasting impact for current and future Patriots.
Today’s ceremony marks an exciting milestone as we celebrate the beginning of this transformational project. The partial track will be located west of the Secondary School in Hills, with construction planned to begin in Summer 2026. See you at 10 AM!

Brynn's time of 11.69 not only earned her a state title, but also set a new HBC school record AND the Minnesota All-Class, All-Time Record in the event.
