Congratulations to Adrik Harsma and Keiton Koller as they participated in the Mitchell Kernels’ Bass Clef Festival! They had the privilege of working with Doran Johnson to perform two pieces of music at tonight’s concert! Hunter Safety Class Fall Signup
HBC Trap Team Update - Students interested in joining the 2027 Spring Trap team must have completed the MN Hunter Safety Class.
Next In-Person Hunter Safety Class is Oct 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, 15 from 7pm-9pm. Hybrid class option is October 16. Field Day for all class options is Oct 17 from 9am to 12pm. All classes are required attendance to receive certificate.
Class size limited to 25.

Tonight—Wednesday, August 26, 2026—is the HBC Open House! Our elementary and secondary staff are excited to welcome students and families as we begin the 2026–2027 school year.
🏫 Elementary Open House (LPA and Grades 1–5)
5:30–7:30 PM
Kindergarten students will NOT have an open house because of their scheduled conferences on Tuesday, September 1.
Kindergarten students are welcome to stop by for a back-to-school picture. Additional picture opportunities will also be available.
School Time Photos will take back-to-school pictures at the elementary school only.

🎵 Grade 5 Band Open House
Students interested in fifth-grade band may visit the elementary music room from 6:00–7:00 PM. Mrs. Comp and a representative from Popplers Music will be available to answer questions and assist families interested in leasing-to-own an instrument.
🏫 Secondary Open House (Grades 6–12)
5:30–7:30 PM
Sixth-grade students and families will meet from 7:00–7:30 PM in the secondary music room # 702.
Please note that secondary school pictures will not be taken during the Secondary Open House.
Secondary students can come get their schedules, drop off items in lockers, pay fees & 9-12 students can pick up their Chromebooks.
