Good luck to HBC senior Abby Olson as she competes today 6/9 and tomorrow 6/10 at the Minnesota State High School Golf Tournament at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, MN! She tees off at 12:27 PM today 6/9.

This marks Abby's second appearance at the State Tournament — an INCREDIBLE accomplishment and a testament to her hard work and dedication on the golf course.

The entire HBC community is cheering you on and wishing you the very best as you represent the PATRIOTS on the state's biggest stage!

Our athletes represented HBC with grit & determination, bringing home individual medals, school records, individual state championship & the first Girls Class A State Championship in program history.

Brynn's time of 11.69 not only earned her a state title, but also set a new HBC school record AND the Minnesota All-Class, All-Time Record in the event.

Students entering 7th and 10th grade will need a Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) qualifying physical exam before participating in athletics next school year. Sports physicals are valid for three years. We strongly encourage families to schedule appointments early, as medical appointments often become difficult to get closer to the start of the fall sports season.
Important Fall Dates:
First Day of Fall Sports Practices (MSHSL): Monday, August 17th
Junior High Football and Volleyball will start Monday, August 24th

H-BC Golf had a great day on Wednesday at the Section Tournament! Abby Olson finished 6th overall with a score of 97 and qualified to move on to Day 2 of the Section Championship next Wednesday. For the first time in over 15 years, the Boys Team made it to Day 2 as a team! Auston Olson, Maddox Metzger, Riggins Rheault, and Camdyn Broesder scored 88, 88, 91, and 96 respectively, for a team total of 363, tying for 4th place with SWC/Edgerton. Congratulations to all of our golfers on a great season, and good luck at the tournament on Wednesday!

Congratulations to Brekyn Klarenbeek for setting not one, but two school records last night at the Sub-Section Track Meet! She broke the 100M Hurdles with a time of 16.81 and the 300M Hurdles with a time of 49.88. Both records were previously held by Pam Tatge, set 45 years ago in 1981.
