
Congratulations to Wyett, Gavin, Katelyn, and Tatyana for being selected for the SWMBDA 7/8 Grade Honor Band! This event will be held Saturday, January 15 in Marshall, MN. The concert will be at 4 PM in the Marshall High School Auditorium. Way to go!


Congratulations to Dallas, Tess, Danette, Tara, Tyrae, and Lexi on being accepted into MSU-Mankato's Honor Band! This event will be on January 28, 2022 and will include full ensemble rehearsals, side-by-side rehearsals with university students, and performances by Minnesota State, Mankato instrumental ensembles! We are so proud of our hard-working musicians!


Congratulations to Tess, Tara, and LeeAnna on being accepted into the SDSU Honor Bands! Tara will be a part of the Honor Wind Ensemble (conducted by the internationally renowned conductor, composer, and educator Dr. John P. Lynch) and Tess and LeeAnna will be a part of the Festival Band (conducted by SDSU's Dr. Kevin Kessler.) This event will take place on February 25-26. Way to go!

HBC 6th Grade social studies students had an amazing educational opportunity at Pucky Sandager's Farm. Students met the grave talker immigrant from Norway, the late Haaken Moen. His journey of coming to America and being a settler included a perilous journey on the sea, blizzards, sod houses, covered wagons, amputated toes and the journey for FREEDOM. Thank you for the Interactive History Lesson, Mr. Sandager!
