Hannah Swenson (Fick) a recent H-BC graduate was a guest speaker in the Power Mechanics CTE (career and technical education) class on Monday. Hannah discussed trade careers and her career as an electrician. She discussed basic & complex circuits, safety and electrical work on new and existing residential/commercial buildings. For Veteran’s Day at HBC Schools this November, we will be creating a video honoring local veterans tied to the students and staff of HBC. This video will be presented at the program at 9 AM on November 10th at HBC Secondary - Hills. Mrs. Leuthold’s third grade class has been reading about cultures and heritage in their reading curriculum. Today, the students were encouraged to bring in something from their heritage to share with their classmates. It was so fun to have the students be the teachers for the morning!
