HBC Secondary is at our nation’s capital Washington DC for the National Blue Ribbon Schools Awards Ceremony this week. High school math teacher Ms. Baker, HBC band teacher/director Ms. Comp and secondary principal Mr. Kellenberger are at the NBRS Ceremony representing our HBC Secondary students, staff, families and our community. Only 356 schools and only 7 MN schools were awarded with the 2024 National Blue Ribbon Award. Today is an exciting day for our school, community & country! Our students are actively participating in the democratic process with our school election, and it's a great reminder of the power of voting. All students were able to vote with a faux ballot. We encourage everyone in our community to get out and cast your ballot, too. Voting is one of the most important ways to make your voice heard and contribute to shaping the future. HBC School & Football Update - State-Bound HBC Patriots Football Team will play Border West Thursday, Nov. 7th at 7 PM at Buffalo High School, Buffalo MN. Due to 7PM game time and travel time, HBC Public Schools will have an EARLY RELEASE schedule on Thurs., Nov. 7th. HBC Secondary will dismiss at 12:45 PM & HBC Elem at 1:00 PM.
