It was a BIG week for STEM at Hills-Beaver Creek.
Students in the fourth and fifth grade Horizons class traveled to Sanford Promise Community Laboratory in Sioux Falls for a tour and to learn about oxidation.
The elementary robotics camp wrapped up this week with a student showcase. There were 16 fourth and fifth graders who participated in the three week program.
Finally. the junior high robotics team picked up several grants to help purchase new team supplies and assist in costs associated with their upcoming trip.

HBC current 6th graders hosted our future 6th grade students (current 5th graders) at HBC Secondary today. 5th graders were able to ask questions to current 6th grade student panel, meet their middle level teachers, take a tour, eat lunch with middle level friends and play some HBC Mat Ball. A lot of excitement in the building! We're excited to have these AMAZING students join us next fall!
