Our Secondary Student Council led a mini retreat at HBC Elementary on Thursday themed: Be You! Be Awesome! They read You Matter and Be You, lead communication circles to foster meaningful conversations with peers, helped create posters about making the world more awesome, ran a rock-paper-scissors tournament, and wrapped up with a fun dance party!
It was our last Secondary Student Council event with the current senior members—we’re thankful for their incredible leadership and will miss them. We’re so proud of all our leaders for making today a memorable experience! Shout-out to Student Council Advisors Ms. McGaffee & Ms. Bass for planning this event.
