Parent/Teacher Conferences: Thank you to all the parents for their attendance at P/T Conferences. You are one of the big reasons H-BC Elementary is successful!
PTO Thanks: Thank you to the HBC Elementary PTO for organizing the delicious meal for staff last week Thursday! That meal is so generous! Not to mention it was quite yummy!
Kindergarten Round Up: Friday, March 18th is Kindergarten Roundup Day. Year 2022-2023 Kindergarten Students will have kindergarten for the full day. The District hosts this day to benefit students transitioning to Kindergarten next year. Next year’s kindergarten parents will meet with H-BC Elementary staff from 8:15 am until approximately 9:15 on that day. The current 2021-2022 kindergarten students do not have school March 18. All fall of 2022 Kindergarten Students are encouraged to attend.
Preschool Registration Night: Monday, March 21, at 6:30 pm at the Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary School. Registration children who will turn 3 or 4 by September 1. Children must be potty trained. Come check out our Little Patriot Academy Program. You will be glad you did!!!
Penny War: The competition has completed. Our thanks to students, parents & grandparents for donating their change and bills. We will announce winners at Liftoff on Monday, February, 28, 2022! This really had our students pumped and for a good cause--Game Plan 4Hope.
Trombone Quartet: K-6th Grade Students enjoyed The Paper Clips (Trombone Quartet) on Wednesday. Thank you Mrs. Bierman for organizing this program.
FFA Farm Safety: HBC Elementary will host the HBC Secondary FFA as they teach elementary students about Farm Safety. This event will occur on March 22. Note: There will be live farm animals and other pets may be present. Please notify the office if your child is allergic to any animals.
3-5 Grade Girls On The Run: Spots are limited for this wonderful program. Registration is open at www.EmBe.org/gotr Scholarships are available, if the fee is a concern. No child is ever turned away because of payment. The program will run Monday & Wednesday, 3:30-4:15pm starting Monday, March 7, and ending Monday, May 16. Thank you Mrs. Tollefson for leading the program!
Bus Driver Appreciation Day: Was on Wednesday, February 23. Please make sure to thank our bus drivers for their work!
Early Childhood Family Education: ECFE classes will continue in March on Tuesday nights. ECFE is designed for families with children from birth to five. For more information contact Macy Ellingson at m.ellingson@isd671.net.

NUT AWARE SCHOOL: H-BC Elementary School is a peanut/tree nut allergy aware area. There will be no classroom projects with peanut butter or peanut shells. Please do not send any of these projects into the classroom with your child. It is our hope that parents, who send a lunch from home for their child, CHOOSE NOT TO send foods containing peanut butter or nuts.
