The Hills-Beaver Creek Juniors & Seniors will be going to the University of Sioux Falls for the

Sioux Falls Development Foundations’ “Talent Draft Day 2021” on Thursday, September 23.  It is a chance for your student to learn and

“experience the latest and cutting edge skills in health and biosciences, engineering and design, general business, manufacturing and the technology sectors.”

This is an excellent opportunity for our students to experience this free and informational conference.   Students will have the opportunity to learn and network with universities, colleges, post-secondary institutions around the Midwest and Area Businesses which will help give our students an idea of post-secondary institutions & careers which are now available in the 21st century.   Each student will get to choose a career module/field (see below) which they might be interested in for post-secondary.   The students will meet with area businesses and professionals to discuss professional skills and opportunities in the field of their choice.  This is also a GREAT networking opportunity for our students!

The various fields include:

-Health Field

-Business and Entrepreneurship Field

-Arts, Design & Media Field

-Social Sciences - Education, Psychology & Criminal Justice Fields

A lunch and/or snack will be provided free of charge. Your student will be able to attend if this form is signed by you and turned into Mr. Ellingson. We will be leaving from HBC High School at 8:10 AM and will be returning to HBC at 1:30 PM on September 23.
