H-BC Elementary School Families:

This week’s H-BC Elementary Parent Connection.  Make sure to check out the H-BC November Newsletter found here.  We are into the last week of the first nine week marking period!  Wow!  Hope your week is great!

 

H-BC Elementary School Early Dismissal: Friday, November 6 is a planned 12:45 dismissal at H-BC Elementary School. 

 

 

End of the Quarter is Friday, November 6 Quarter Two begins on Monday, November 9

 

 

Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour for the end of Daylight Savings time on Sunday at 2 am, November 1.

 

 

Today, October 30, we had our fall festival in individual classrooms!  Fun was had by all!  We played all school intercom bingo.  Students were able to purchase glow items in the PRIDE Store, and have a glow dance party during PE.  Students were able to decorate cookies (and eat) in their classrooms!  Another fun day at school!

 

E-learning days...if school is cancelled because of inclement weather or any other reason.  Items for E-Learning day can be found in student backpacks.  Here is the procedure for E-Learning Days.

American Education Week November 16-20:

Monday, November 16:  Kickoff Day—Recognition at Elementary School of Am Ed Week

Tuesday, November 17:  —Students dress in BLUE/Blue Ribbon T-shirts in recognition of last year’s Blue Ribbon School Award (P/T Conferences Elementary Scheduled)

Wednesday, November 18:  —Teacher Dress UP Day for Students--Students write and give thank you notes to an H-BC Staff Person of their choosing

Thursday, November 19:  Donut Day--Students will be given a donut to enjoy!!

Friday, November 20:  Grandparents/Special Persons Day-- Students write letters to Grandparent/Special Person (no in person or lunch this day)

 

Sign up for P/T Conferences.  Parents will have a choice of either in person or online conference--Link to scheduled conferences has been emailed.
