SCHOOL LUNCH HERO DAY: Yesterday, Friday, May 5 is recognized by the National School Nutrition Organization as LUNCH HERO DAY.   Our Food Service Staff are heroes!  Thank you to Donna Burgers, Anita Blank, Lisa Durst and Joan Johnson for making our meals and cafeteria’s so pleasant!

May 8-12 is Teacher Appreciation Week!  H-BC Secondary School has amazing teachers that we truly appreciate!  Please join in with me in celebrating our teachers!  Easy ways to celebrate your student(s)’ teachers are a quick email, thank you note or a favorite treat/drink.  Thank you HBC Teachers!

May 6 - 12th is Nurse Appreciation Week!  HBC Public Schools is lucky to have Ms. Lois Leenderts as our school nurse.  Please join in with me to celebrate our school nurse Ms. Leenderts.

Deficiency Lists for 4th Quarter start April 18, 2023- (New)

As we emphasize the importance of academics and being well-rounded students, athletes and participants of co-curricular activities, please be reminded that we begin Quarter 4 DL on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

The Deficiency List / Academic Eligibility is located in Section 9 of the Secondary Student Handbook (LINK).  

This slide explains the different levels of deficiencies.  Parents and students will receive an emailed letter notifying them if their student is on the deficiency list.  Please continue to support your student who may be struggling with completing school work.
