Tomorrow - Reezin’ For Freezin’ Polar Plunge: Our own Mr. Gehrke will represent H-BC Elementary and take the plunge this Saturday, February 11, at The Lake in Luverne (815 W Edgehill) 1:00 start. The event is a fundraiser for The Luverne Area Community Foundation. H-BC has been a benefactor from this Foundation on several occasions. Ways to donate:

EARLY OUT CHILD CARE: Our PEAC Program (Patriot Enrichment After school Care) is available on early dismissal days for K-5 students. Call the office or email Mrs. Voss for more information: t.voss@isd671.net
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES - THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16: Elementary Parents will be contacted by your child’s teacher for a scheduled conference time. If you were not scheduled, and would like to visit with your child’s teacher, please contact your child’s teacher. NOTE THE TIME CHANGE: P/T Conferences run from 4:00-7:30.
CHEER ON THE PATRIOTS: Monday, February 20 is the final home Girls Basketball Game at the Jr/Sr High in Hills. JV starts at 6:00 pm followed by the varsity.

- Students, who attended Basketball Camp, should wear their Camp Shirts

BASKETBALL CAMP: MAKEUP DAY- PRE-K-2 Camp make up day is Saturday, February 25.
BOND REFERENDUM: The Hills-Beaver Creek School District continues to prepare for the Bond Referendum Vote scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Make sure to check this link regularly, as updates will be posted to the District’s Website: https://www.hbcpatriots.com/page/2023-referendum Informational meetings set for March 23 (Elementary School- Beaver Creek) and March 28 (Hugo Goehle Gym- Hills) both are at 7 pm. KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP: Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for Friday, March 17th. Students 5 years old on or before August 31, 2023 are eligible. Please see the details here: K Round Up
GIRLS ON THE RUN: H-BC Elementary is excited to have the GOTR program back again this year for grades 3-5 girls. From the first practice to crossing the finish line, GOTR girls learn that their self-work is paramount to all that they do. The Spring 2023 Season will run March 6-May 17, Mondays and Wednesday 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm. Registration is now open: www.embe.org/gotr
BASKETBALL CAMP: MAKEUP DAY- PRE-K-2 Camp make up day is Saturday, February 25.
DENTAL SERVICES: Thursday, February 23, CDC will be in Luverne providing Dental Service. Youth & Adults are welcome. See the link here for information: Dental Clinic
EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY EDUCATION: Our ECFE Program is a great way for parents to spend quality time with their child. Children ages 0-5 are welcome to H-BC Elementary School each month from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
