H-BC Secondary Families:

It is such a GREAT feeling to have 5 full school days during the week!  Next week is the last week of the 2nd semester, please make sure to look at JMC to see your student(s)’ academic progress.  Thursday, January 19th is the last day of the 2nd Quarter/1st semester.

Also, on Monday, January 16th, we celebrate and honor Martin Luther King Jr.  We will still have school and be instructing and reviewing the life of MLK Jr. and the impact he had on this world and America.

As a principal, I had the opportunity to visit the MLK Jr. Memorial in Washington DC with WorldClassroom and our Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen.  Here are some throwback pictures from that day and one of my favorite MLK Jr. Quotes.   One of my favorite moments of the trip was finding the exact spot MLK Jr. gave his “I have a Dream” speech at the Lincoln Memorial.
