H-BC Families:

TIK TOK THREAT:  As you may or may not know, there was a national Tik Tok challenge that was put out to scare schools with either shooting or bomb threats.  H-BC Schools is/was aware of this challenge and was on a heightened alert today, 12/17/21 (we are always on alert for such events.)  Please know there was never an imminent threat at H-BC, wanted you to know as parents that the school prepares for events like this with our ALICE training and Lock Down Drills.  I’m saddened to say that we have to deal with this, but want to assure you that the school takes any and all threats seriously and will act accordingly, if and when they occur.  I assure you that H-BC did not have a direct threat.

GRADES K-5 ARE GOING TO THE MOVIES:  Thank you to the H-BC Elementary PTO for sponsoring this activity.  HBC Elementary Students in Grades K-5 will be traveling via school bus to the Palace Theater in Luverne Thursday, December 23.  We will be watching either Clifford or the Polar Express Movie.  Students will board buses at 8:30 am and return around 11:15.  Snacks, at the theater, will also be provided.  Thank you PTO!  Parent permission forms found here...have been sent home with students as well.
