H-BC Secondary Families:

We finally had our first E-Learning Day (snow day) at HBC!   I am hoping your student was able to complete their Blue Day Classes (Periods 2,4,6 and 8).   A friendly reminder that students will be counted as absent if they did not attempt or complete the E-Learning school work assigned.   Students will have 5 days (till 12/15/21) to complete the assigned work.

Lastly, a few games also were postponed due to the weather.

Tonights (12/10) Boys Varsity Basketball Game vs WWG - postponed to February 3rd.   

Adrian ⅞ BB Tournament for tomorrow (12/11) is postponed.  No New Date Yet.

World’s Best Workforce Public Meeting (New)

The public is welcome to attend the meeting Monday, December 13th, 6:30 PM H-BC District Office - Hills Secondary.  The World’s Best Workforce (WBWF) was developed in 2013 to comply with MN Statute 120B.11 to ensure all school districts in Minnesota enhance student achievement through teaching and learning supports. 

Midterm for Quarter 2 - Friday, December 10th - Reminder to check your students Midterm Progress Report (New)

On Friday, December 10th, it is Midterms for Quarter 2.   This is the halfway point for the Quarter.   The school will be sending paper copy progress reports for all students who are failing or have a ‘D’ grade.   Please continue to encourage your student(s) to always do their best, seek teacher support if they need help (before or after school) and complete all assignments.   Students may also have an option to retake tests if they check with the teacher.

Great Holiday Gift Idea - Patriot Blanket (New)

Just in time for the holidays, a blanket sale at H-BC. The PTO Patriot blankets are only $35 this holiday season.

The blankets are soft, large and wash well. They make a great present for the Patriot in your life. Starla and Brenda are helping us with contactless pickup at either the high school in Hills or the elementary school in Beaver Creek.
