It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at H-BC Elementary School. Parents are welcome to stroll the halls before or after the K,1, 2 & 5th Grade Band Program on December 13th to see your child’s projects.
GRADES K, 1,2 WINTER CONCERT AND 5TH GRADE BAND will perform Monday, December 13th at 7:00 pm. Students should arrive at school no earlier than 6:50 pm. Grades K,1 & 2 will meet in their classrooms at 6:50. Band students will meet in the music room at 6:50.
World’s Best Workforce Public Meeting: The public is welcome to attend the meeting Monday, December 13th, 6:30 PM H-BC District Office - Hills Secondary. The World’s Best Workforce (WBWF) was developed in 2013 to comply with MN Statute 120B.11 to ensure all school districts in Minnesota enhance student achievement through teaching and learning supports. https://tinyurl.com/5fmhnzf8
COLD WEATHER - Please make sure your child/ren come to school equipped for colder weather. All boots, hats, gloves, snow pants & coats should be clearly marked with the student’s name. If your family needs assistance with winter clothing, please let the office know.

Wednesday, December 22nd - Christmas Character Day (reindeer, elf, santa, etc.)
Thursday, December 23rd - PJ Day - clean pajamas, no slippers.
MID-TERM the second quarter mid term is today, Friday, December 10
H-BC Elementary December Community Service Project - Students are encouraged to bring donations of canned goods or toiletry items. The items will be donated to Rock County Share. Classes will be awarded prizes based on the number of canned goods donated.

NUT AWARE SCHOOL: H-BC Elementary School is a peanut/tree nut allergy aware area. There will be no classroom projects with peanut butter or peanut shells. Please do not send any of these projects into the classroom with your child. It is our hope that parents, who send a lunch from home for their child, CHOOSE NOT TO send foods containing peanut butter or nuts.
DAILY COVID SCREENING Please remember to go through the health screener each day before sending your child/ren to school.
