Happy Friday! What a GREAT week and a GREAT Veterans Day Program at Hills-Beaver Creek! Thank you to all the people who contributed to making this a day to thank and honor our Veterans. Here are some pictures from the program if you were unable to attend.
Congratulations to our State-Bound HBC Patriots Football Team! Our Patriots football team will play again on tonight, Friday, November 12th at 7 PM at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. It would be great to have as many people to SMSU, Marshall, MN to cheer this team on! Here are some pictures from this past Friday.

Attention: 6th - 8th Graders: World Classroom Trip to Washington D.C. for Summer of 2023 - Virtual Parent Information Meeting (Repeat)
This past summer over 25 students and 20 parents/guardians attended the World Classroom Trip to Washington D.C. This trip was a highlight of my summer and many of our students! This opportunity will be offered again to our students who are currently in 6th - 8th Grade for the Summer of 2023. Yes, you can also attend as a parent! Parents of 6th - 8th Grader, please mark your calendars for the Virtual Parent Information Meeting. More details will come home with your student.
The Virtual Parent Information Meeting for the Washington D.C. Summer 2023 Trip is Monday, November 15th, 2021 at 7:00 PM.
Tuesday, November 16th - Parent/Teacher Conferences Secondary (Repeat) - Please mark your calendars for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, November 16th from 3:45 - 7:30 PM. Conferences will look similar to Open House where parents/caregivers can come and meet with their students’ respected teachers during the 3.5 hour time block. Teachers will be available to discuss students’ progress during this time. If your student is not passing or struggling in a particular subject, it is strongly recommended that both student and parent(s) have a conference with his/her teacher.
Quarter 1 Report Cards Sent (New)
Quarter 1 Report Cards were sent via email to both students and parents. Please make sure to look in your email and have a conversation with your student about their progress. Family engagement is extremely important in a student’s education. It is important to focus on the strengths of a student and then go to the areas of improvement. If you have any questions, please contact your student(s)’ teacher and come to Parent/Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, November 16th. Please see details above.
