Our Patriots football team will play again on Friday, November 12th at 7 PM at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. H-BC OPERATING Referendum (New): Thank you to all those that voted in the district special election this past Tuesday, November 2. The Special Election included two questions. Question one was for renewal of the current $897.15 this question passed. Question two was to add an inflationary increase to the current referendum amount. Question two also passed. Also, Harley Fransman was elected to finish out a term from a previous board member’s resignation. The Operating Referendum is for a 10 year term.

Veterans & Community Invited - VETERANS DAY PROGRAM (Repeat) - Thursday, November 11th, 9:00 AM, H-BC Secondary School in Hills. The community is invited to this program honoring our veterans. H-BC Students and Faculty will take part. Elementary students will be bussed to Hills. Students are encouraged to wear red, white & blue.
Attention: 6th - 8th Graders: World Classroom Trip to Washington D.C. for Summer of 2023 - Virtual Parent Information Meeting (New)
This past summer over 25 students and 20 parents/guardians attended the World Classroom Trip to Washington D.C. This trip was a highlight of my summer and many of our students! This opportunity will be offered again to our students who are currently in 6th - 8th Grade for the Summer of 2023. Yes, you can also attend as a parent! Parents of 6th - 8th Grader, please mark your calendars for the Virtual Parent Information Meeting. More details will come home with your student.
The Virtual Parent Information Meeting for the Washington D.C. Summer 2023 Trip is Monday, November 15th, 2021 at 7:00 PM.
Tuesday, November 16th - Parent/Teacher Conferences Secondary (Repeat) - Please mark your calendars for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, November 16th from 3:45 - 7:30 PM. Conferences will look similar to Open House where parents/caregivers can come and meet with their students’ respected teachers during the 3.5 hour time block. Teachers will be available to discuss students’ progress during this time. If your student is not passing or struggling in a particular subject, it is strongly recommended that both student and parent(s) have a conference with his/her teacher.
