H-BC Families:

No School tomorrow,  Friday, October 5, 2021, allowing students & staff to watch the H-BC Football team play in at SMSU in Marshall at 11:30 am.  Go Patriots!

H-BC OPERATING Referendum:  Thank you to all those that voted in the district special election this past Tuesday, November 2.  The Special Election included two questions.  Question one was for renewal of the current $897.15 this question passed.  Question two was to add an inflationary increase to the current referendum amount.  Question two also passed.  Also, Harley Fransman was elected to finish out a term from a previous board member’s resignation. The Operating Referendum is for a 10 year term.

TEACHER CONFERENCE SCHEDULER:  An email was sent to all K-5 parents with a link to sign up for a conference November 11 or 16.  Thank you for signing up promptly.  NOTE: You must sign into https://hbc.onlinejmc.com/.  Make sure you are signing into the 21-22 school year. Call the school if you forgot your password.  Signing up with the classroom teacher is required, seeing other teachers (Art/PE/Music) is optional.   If you did click to see all the teachers and it was a mistake, please let the office know.  

  

VETERANS DAY PROGRAM - Thursday, November 11th, 9:00 am, H-BC Jr/Sr High School in Hills.  The community is invited to this program honoring our veterans.    H-BC Students and Faculty will take part.  Elementary students will be bussed to Hills.  Students are encouraged to wear red, white & blue.

H-BC BASKETBALL APPAREL -  Starting Monday, November 8th, the following link/store will be open for those interested in ordering H-BC Basketball Apparel.  www.luvprintexpress.com/hbcbb  Again, the link will open on Monday.

VOLLEYBALL CAMP:  The final day for the grades 1-6 Camp is Saturday, November 6.

After School Care - Drop Ins Welcome!    Peac is Patriot Enrichment After School Care.  Parents are welcome to enroll K-5 students for a day or set up a regular schedule.  Peac is open from 3:15pm to 5:30pm on all scheduled/full school days.  Kids attending Peac are having a great time and parents appreciate the convenience & of the program.   Daily, monthly, and yearly rates are available.  Please contact Tedra at t.voss@isd671.net or call the office 507-673-2541 extension 1100 to learn more.

NUT AWARE SCHOOL: H-BC Elementary School is a peanut/tree nut allergy aware area.  There will be no classroom projects with peanut butter or peanut shells.  Please do not send any of these projects into the classroom with your child.  It is our hope that parents, who send a lunch from home for their child, CHOOSE NOT TO send foods containing peanut butter or nuts.

DAILY COVID SCREENING  Please remember to go through the health screener each day before sending your child/ren to school.
