H-BC Secondary Families:
Homecoming Week! It’s a GREAT week to be a Patriot! There has been a lot of activity at the school this week, with the dress-up days, Coronation (congratulations to King Riggins and Queen Brynn!), the Queens of the Court game vs Edgerton (congratulations to our H-BC Volleyball team on the win in 3 straight sets!), and the class competition and parade today! We also have a tailgate meal planned for 6 PM & HBC Patriot Homecoming Football Game vs HLO-F at 7 PM! See you there wearing Red, White, and Blue!

UPCOMING COLLEGE AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR 10TH/11TH/12TH GRADERS
There are numerous College and Career Ready opportunities for our upperclassmen (10th/11th/12th grades) that are coming up. If you have any questions, please talk to or email Ms. Justine Sandbulte - Guidance Counselor.
10th Graders to Career Expo (Worthington) on Wednesday, September 23rd. All students will go to expo to learn about the numerous careers around the Tri-State Area.
11th Graders & Select 12th Graders to College Fair (Luverne) on Wednesday, September 30th in Luverne. Numerous colleges will be represented at this event.
OCTOBER 1ST - SECONDARY SCHOOL PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Please mark your calendars for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 1st from 4:00 - 7:30 PM. Conferences will look similar to Open House where parents/caregivers can come and meet with their students’ respected teachers during the 3.5 hour time block. Teachers will be available to discuss students’ progress during this time. It is also recommended to check student(s) JMC account to look at academic progress.

TRAP SHOOTING UPDATES
Hunter Safety Class Coming In October - This is required for anyone wanting to be on the Trap Team this spring.
Trap Shooting Team Fundraiser
The Trap Team is partnering with Pheasants Forever to sell rooster raffle tickets for team funds. Anyone interested in purchasing tickets can contact any team member. They will be on sale until September 29th.

Please make sure you are getting the most updated student schedule on the JMC app/website. Students were able to change schedules this week.

BACK TO SCHOOL JMC ONLINE REGISTRATION
Thanks to all the parents and families that completed their student online registration through JMC. It is an easy way for the school to collect the necessary information for school enrollment. If you have not yet completed registration for your student please do so as soon as possible. Log into www.hbc.onlinejmc.com. If you receive a message from the school stating all or a portion of your students registration is incomplete, please act promptly! Call the office with questions 507-673-2541.

SECOND ENTREE PURCHASE:
Students in grades K-5 may purchase a second entree with their meal. The entree is $3.00. If choosing a second entree, students may pay cash or the family lunch account will be charged. Students MUST write their name on the Cafeteria Sheet if they want a second entree.
