09/11/26 SECONDARY BULLETIN
H-BC Secondary Families:
Today is Patriot Day honoring 25 years since the attacks on New York and Washington, D.C. As we remember September 11, 2001, we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the courage of the first responders, and the many families who continue to carry the pain of that day.
For many of our students, 9/11 is an event they know only through history books, videos, and the stories of others. I encourage you to continue those conversations at home. Ask questions, listen to the experiences of those who remember that day, and reflect on the courage, sacrifice, unity, and compassion shown in the days that followed.
May we always remember those we lost, honor those who served, and never take our freedoms—or one another—for granted.
