Dear HBC Elementary Families,
As we move into May, we have so much to celebrate and look forward to at HBC Elementary!
First, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week May 4-8 and last week was Volunteer Appreciation Week. Our teachers and volunteers are the heart of our school community. Their dedication, care, and commitment make a lasting difference in the lives of our students every single day. We are incredibly grateful for all they do!
We’re also proud of our Student Council, who will be taking a field trip to the Ronald McDonald House on May 4. Students will be touring the facility and delivering the pop tabs they’ve collected—an outstanding example of service and leadership in action. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

PUPPY RELAYS - MAY 8: If you are new to the district, Puppy Relays is a time-honored name for our end of year elementary student track and field day. It’s a fun day to come watch your children. The events will be held at the softball field in Beaver Creek. You may park around the OLD Elementary School. Watch for more details to come!

PARKING LOT SAFETY: For the safety of students, guests and staff, please drive cautiously in our parking lot. Speeds should be reduced to under 10 mph or less, while keeping a close eye out for pedestrians.
STUDENT DROP OFF & PICK UP: Whenever possible, please have your child/ren get in and out on the right side (closest to the curb) of your vehicle. The left side is the car/passing lane. All passing vehicles, PLEASE PROCEED SLOWLY.
