Dear HBC Elementary Families,
We hope this message finds you well and enjoying the early signs of spring! As we begin the month of April next week, we are looking forward to a great week of learning, connection, and continued growth for our students. Make sure to check out the theme days beginning on Monday, March 30.
We also want to extend a huge shoutout to our boys basketball team as they represent our community at the Minnesota State Tournament! We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. We are cheering them on and wish them the very best—Go Patriots!
Please note that there will be no school on Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 27 as we support our Patriots at the Boys State Basketball Tournament—what an exciting time for our school and community!
As a reminder, there will be no school on Friday, April 3. We hope families can enjoy the long weekend together.
Also, HBC does have school on Monday, April 6.

Important Schedule Changes
(repeat) END OF THE DAY CHANGES: Parents: End of day last minute bus and pick up changes can be difficult. If a change to your child’s regular afterschool plan is needed PLEASE CALL or EMAIL BEFORE 2:00 PM. If emailing: Please email the classroom teacher AND the office - b.plimpton@isd671.net.
(repeat) LUNCH ROOM GUESTS: Guests are welcome to eat lunch with students! We appreciate advanced notice. Please call the office before 9:00 am to order a guest meal. If you are bringing in a special meal for a student, please DO NOT bring soda.
