Parent Connection

February 20, 2026

Dear H-BC Elementary Parents and Families,

Pulbic Schools Week

It has been another fantastic week at H-BC Elementary! Our hallways have been filled with learning, laughter, and lots of school spirit.

This week we proudly celebrate National Public Schools Week — a time to recognize the incredible impact public schools have on our students, families, and communities.

Public schools are the heart of our community. At H-BC Elementary, we are more than just a building where learning happens — we are a place where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Every day, our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to create engaging lessons, build meaningful relationships, and ensure each child feels safe, valued, and supported.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of H-BC Elementary. It’s a great day to be a Patriot!

Zero The Hero

ZERO THE HERO

Ask your child if they saw Zero the Hero this week?!

Zero the Hero is a popular children's educational character created to make math fun and teach the significance of the number zero in math.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES: Reminder to parents with students involved in after school sports/activities -  siblings may not stay after school and watch or wait.  We do not have supervision for siblings to stay at school.

TONIGHT, IS THE PTO EVENT - PUZZLES, PIZZA & PITCHERS:

I LOVE TO READ MONTH:  As part of I Love To Read Month, the H-BC Secondary Student Council came and read to each class at H-BC Elementary.  Our students loved it!  The Jr/Sr High School Students also enjoyed some fun in the gym with the students.
