Parent Connection

January 23, 2026

As we wrap up another busy week and head into another, I want to thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school community. It has been a full and productive week of learning, and it’s always a joy to see the growth and enthusiasm our students bring to school each day.

I would also like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate our incredible paraprofessionals. Their dedication, patience, and care make a tremendous difference in the lives of our students and staff. Whether supporting learning in classrooms, providing individual assistance, or helping our school run smoothly each day, their work does not go unnoticed. We are truly grateful for all that they do for our students and our school.

Finally, as we head into a period of very cold weather, please be sure your child is dressed appropriately for the temperatures. Warm coats, hats, gloves, and boots are essential, especially as we continue to monitor outdoor conditions. We will follow district guidelines for outdoor recess and arrival procedures, and student safety will always be our top priority.

Thank you for your continued support and trust. I hope you and your family have a safe, warm, and restful weekend.

H-BC PTO INVITES YOU TO  PUZZLES, PIZZA & PITCHERS:

Instead of knocking on your door with order forms for things you don’t need, the HBC PTO decided to do something better — create a FUN night out for YOU while supporting our students, teachers, and families!

Join us for an evening of friendly competition, delicious pizza, refreshing pitchers, and plenty of laughs with neighbors and friends. Whether you’re a puzzle pro or just there for the pizza, this event is all about bringing our community together in support of our elementary school.

Your participation makes a real difference. PTO funds help provide classroom resources, student activities, teacher support, family events, and so much more — things that directly impact every child at HBC. None of this happens without the generosity of our community, and we are so grateful for your support.
