H-BC Elementary Families:
Hats off to our grades 3-5 students, Mrs. Fischer, and all the staff for making our first week of MCA testing a success! We continue next week on Tuesday and Wednesday with the MCA math test for grades 3-5. MCA Science for 5th graders is the week of the 22nd. BREAKFAST SERVED TO ALL GRADES 3-5 STUDENTS ON TESTING DAYS.
GRADES 3-5 MUSIC CONCERT: The 3-5 Spring Concert is Monday, April 15th at 7:00 pm at the H-BC Elementary School. Doors open at 6:45 pm and Vocal Music Students are instructed to find their reserved seats with their classmates in the bleachers. Band students will report to the band room at 6:50 with Mrs. Comp. Students are encouraged to wear something nice. Spring colors, dresses, polos or button up shirts work well. Please email Mrs. Kolles with any questions: a.kolles@isd671.net
AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH: April is autism awareness month, the perfect time to focus on spreading awareness and understanding of autism spectrum disorder. Thursday, April 18, we will celebrate our friends with Autism by wearing blue or purple.
H-BC ELEMENTARY ROLLER SKATING PARTY: The H-BC Student Council, in conjunction with our PTO, is planning a fun evening Friday, May 3. Details to come!
ECLIPSE OF THE SUN: Our thanks to the PTO for purchasing the eclipse viewing glasses. Even with the heavy cloud cover on Monday, many of the students were able to see the Eclipse.
TUFF HOME VISIT: Mrs. Bush’s first grade students visited the Tuff Home on Wednesday. They enjoyed games and conversation with the residents.

LITTLE PATRIOT FAMILY FORMAL/MINI PROM: The class of 2026 Parents & H-BC Elementary PTO are sponsoring a Little Patriot Family Formal on Saturday, April 27. See the district newsletter for the details.

EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY EDUCATION: Join us at the H-BC Elementary School for ECFE Class. Bring your 0-5 age children, 6:00 -7:30 pm. The upcoming dates are: April 23 & May 7. Classes do not require advanced registration
