H-BC Elementary Parent Connection

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Ethan Erickson Family. I am so pleased by the support that our great community has extended towards the Erickson family, during this difficult time. This is the foundation of what great communities are built upon! Proud to be a Patriot!
Community Ed Volleyball
Thank you to Mrs. Rozeboom and Mrs. Bass for their work with the volleyball camp these past weeks!
Flu Vaccination this past week
A big thank you to Sanford Luverne Medical Center and Luverne Area Community Foundation for sponsoring the flu clinic at Hills-Beaver Creek Schools. 234 students and staff received the flu vaccine this past Tuesday.
No School
H-BC does not have school tomorrow, Friday, October 18th.
Fall Festival
The H-BC Elementary Fall Festival...a time of student celebration--playing games and winning prizes will occur the afternoon of Thursday, October 31. More information will be coming next week. The HBC Elementary PTO will assist organizing this event. Thank you parents!
Evacuation Drill
Students participated in a school evacuation drill today, Thursday, October 17. We had success. Students did a fantastic job walking orderly and listening to directions.
E-Learning Day Practice
Your child participated in an E-Learning Day Practice. Look for a E-Learning Day packet in your students backpack. The E-Learning Packet will be in students backpacks by Friday, November 1.
Pride Awards
This week we were able to have PRIDE Pizza with the Principal and We played Bingo. Students having Pizza with the Principal were Briggs Metzger, Zoey Huisman and Sam Aanning, Pride Bingo Participants were: Hollis Bartels, Brynn Bakken, Kinley Dwire and Makenzie Axness, Makenzie was the overall PRIDE Bingo Winner she receives a game party and popcorn.
October Bullying Month
Students are asked to wear Orange on Wednesday, October 23rd for Unity Day. This is to recognize that we need to unite to eliminate bullying!
NO SCHOOL--
Friday, October 18 is a non school day! This is the Education Minnesota Break.
