H-BC Elementary Families:
Today marks the end of school for the 2023 year. So many great memories working with students, staff and parents! It has been a time of growth! Another item worth remembering is the fact that we had a momentous vote in the history of the H-BC School District with voters approving a new elementary school. So exciting as we continue to plan for and build this project! Occupancy is projected for August of 2025. I plan to bring all of you along on our ride to the new building!
Most importantly, I’m so pleased with the relationships and bonds that we all have as we work to educate our students. Looking forward to continuing growth in the New Year!
FOOD SHELF WINNING CLASS: Thank you to all families that contributed non-perishable food items for the Rock County Food Shelf! We are proud to say H-BC gathered over 1000 food items! The class that contributed the most items was the 4th grade class! Those students earned one hour of game time in the gym. Thanks again to all who contributed!

NO SCHOOL- December 22 through January 2 is Christmas Break - NO SCHOOL.
School Resumes - Wednesday, January 3.
PRE-K, K & 1 BASKETBALL CAMP: Registration forms were sent home for the January Basketball Camp. Students may join Mr. Gehrke and varsity basketball players for fun & learning. See the form at the bottom of this newsletter. Forms and payment must be returned on or before JANUARY 4.
EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY EDUCATION: Looking for a way to spend quality time with your child? Join us at the H-BC Elementary School for ECFE Class. Bring your 0-5 age children, 6:00 -7:30 pm. The upcoming dates are: January 9 and January 23. Classes do not require advanced registration. Classes do not require advanced registration. Come once or twice, or make it part of your monthly schedule!
