ROCK COUNTY SHARE: The SHARE program collects donations and distributes gifts of food, clothing, and toys to Rock County residents who are in need during the holiday season. A paper copy of the application form was sent home with elementary students this week. You can also find a PDF link of the application here. MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The K-2 Vocal Music, 5th grade Band Concert and Art Show are Monday, December 18 at 7:00 pm at H-BC Elementary School.

ECOLOGY BUS: Third grade students enjoyed a presentation from the Prairie Ecology Bus today. The program, sponsored by Rock County Soil and Water, taught students about the importance of reduce, reuse & recycle.
EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY EDUCATION: Looking for a way to spend quality time with your child? Join us at the elementary school in Beaver Creek for ECFE Class. Bring your 0-5 age children, 6-7:30. The upcoming dates are: November 28, December 12, January 9 and January 23.

In addition, US News and World Report published their 2024 Best Elementary Schools and Best Middle Schools rankings, and the news is good for Hills-Beaver Creek School District: 1 school(s) earned a Best Elementary Schools badge and 1 school(s) earned a Best Middle Schools badge because they place among the top 40% in the state.
The Hills-Beaver Creek School District will conduct up to five (5) E-learning days when school can not be in session for reasons such as inclement weather. Please see the following E-learning Procedures link for more information: https://tinyurl.com/39mrsvwk
WRESTLING: Beginning December 4, the Hills Youth Wrestling Program, welcomes students 4 years old through 8th grade to practice each Monday and Thursday evening from 6:30-7:30 on the stage in the Hugo Goehle Gym. No fee to practice. Parents determine competition participation. Questions may be directed to: Jamie @ 605-496-2353 or Dalton @ 605-759-5631.
OPEN GYM: The Hugo Goehle Gym is open Sundays, November 19 through March 24, 2023.
