FALL FESTIVAL & PRIDE STORE: Today is our Fall Festival and the Pride Store! Ask your child/ren what their favorite part of the day was.

PATRIOT FOOTBALL: Stay tuned, if the HBC patriots football team wins Saturday, October 28. We may have to adjust our Friday, November 3 school schedule. We will keep you posted.
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES: The Conference sign-up is now open for parents to schedule a conference. LINK Conferences begin at 4:00 pm Thursday, November 9 and November 14. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet with their child’s teacher to discuss student progress.

VETERANS DAY PROGRAM - The Community is invited to our Veteran’s Day Program on Friday, November 10, 9:00 AM, H-BC Secondary School in Hills. K-12 H-BC Students and Faculty will take part in this program honoring our veterans. Elementary students will be bussed to Hills. Students and Community are encouraged to wear red, white & blue. We would like to invite all of our Veterans to participate. Veterans please come at 8:30 AM.
Veterans Pictures Needed For Veteran’s Day at HBC Schools this November, we will be creating a video honoring local veterans tied to the students and staff of HBC. This video will be presented at the program at 9 AM on November 10th. If you have a service picture of a veteran who you would like to be included in the slide show, please email their photo, name, military branch, years of service, relation to the H-BC student or staff member to k.untiedt@isd671.net by Friday, October 27. Thank you!

Pastries With Parents - Wednesday, November 15. Bring your child/ren to school and enjoy a pastry with them in the gym from 7:30-8:15.
Grandparent / Special Person’s Day - Friday, November 17. As a part of American Education Week, we are thankful again to have SECURITY SAVINGS BANK sponsor our Grandparent/Special Person's Day meal. This form Grandparents Day will be sent home next week. In order for us to plan for guests, it is important that we know how many people we will be serving. Please return the rsvp portion of the form PROMPTLY so that we may plan accordingly.
K-5 VOLLEYBALL CAMP: Tomorrow, Saturday, October 28, is the last day for Volleyball Camp. Our thanks to Coach Zylstra and the varsity volleyball team for leading the camp!
