Queens of the Court - Friday, September 22, 2023 - Student Body Traveling to Edgerton to Support our Lady Patriot Volleyball Team

September 15, 2023

Dear 6-12 Students & Families,

I wanted to take a moment and inform you of a unique opportunity our students will have next Friday, September 22nd.

Friday, September 22nd our volleyball team will travel to Edgerton to partake in the 2nd Annual - Queens of the Court Volleyball Match (Varsity game followed by JV game). The H-BC Volleyball team will play in a Red Rock Conference battle versus the Dutchmen.

The uniqueness of this game is that Edgerton will have their entire K-12 student body in attendance and H-BC will be busing our entire 6-12th grade student body (including our band) to Edgerton to watch and support our Patriots Volleyball Teams. Last year was a success when Edgerton traveled to Hills for our homecoming.  With both student bodies in attendance, our girls will play in front of roughly 700 fans!

The game is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. Varsity start time with JV to follow (No C-team). The varsity will be battling for a traveling trophy that is called Queens of the Court.

Items you may want to know:

  • Students will be bussed to this event and will NOT be allowed to drive.

  • Students will be back in Hills by 3:00 p.m. to ride the bus home.

  • This event is totally FREE for students.

  • All students will have the opportunity to eat lunch before loading the bus at approximately 11:00 AM

  • There will be a concession stand available for students if they choose to bring money.

  • All students are representing HBC, so all students must exhibit good behavior and sportsmanship.

  • Families and communities are welcome from BOTH schools.  However, seating may be limited due to the LARGE crowd.
