H-BC Elementary Families:
It’s important to remember that when we return to school the week of April 10th that we will begin our MCA testing for Grades 3-5. Thank you to the H-BC Elementary PTO for sponsoring breakfast and snacks for students. The students will be working so hard on doing well on the MCA Tests. We all want them to have food in their tummies and be able to focus on the tests! We encourage all to do their best!
BACK To more NORMAL- Beginning Monday, April 10, buses will resume their normal routes back on gravel roads. Taking into consideration the County Road 6 Closure.

HIGHWAY 6 CLOSED: Beginning Monday, April 10, County Road 6 will be closed between 41st and 61st Streets. We will need to have buses and vehicles take alternate routes. This may cause some delay in bus pickup and drop times. PLAN AHEAD to drive on alternate routes!

Enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt Today!
PTO WALKATHON: K-5 Students received Walkathon Information earlier this week. Donations should be collected over this long weekend. Forms and money must be returned before Thursday, April 13. The Walkathon is Friday, April 14. Students don’t sell anything and parents don’t deliver anything. 100% of the cash and check donations will directly benefit students and staff at H-BC Elementary and 97.3% of online donations.

Elliot Engelkes- 2nd grade made it to the championship match and placed 2nd at the state tournament for the Hills Aces..

MCA READING assessment for grades 3-5 - Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13
MCA MATH assessments for grades 3-5 - Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19
MCA SCIENCE assessment for grade 5 - Wednesday, April 26
ECFE- Children ages 0-5 are welcome to H-BC Elementary School each month from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Mark your calendar for the final date for this school year: April 18. Please contact m.ellingson@isd671.net with any questions.
