H-BC Elementary School Families:

Thank you to all our carpool folks for your patience on rain days. We are trying to get students out of school as quickly and safely as possible. Also, trying to keep them dry!

Grade 3-5 MCA Testing- We will be completing the Grades 3-5 MN Comprehensive assessments in April. Students have been working hard to study and gain the skills necessary to succeed! The school provides breakfast on the days of testing! Also, we will be having a number of incentives for students to perform at their highest level! Please make sure to have your child in school on test days if they are feeling well and symptom free! Here are the test days:

READING MCA TEST-Tuesday, April 13 and Wednesday, April 14
MATH MCA TEST-Tuesday, April 20 and Wednesday, April 21
SCIENCE MCA TEST (5TH GRADE ONLY)-Tuesday, April 27

Breakfast will be provided for students on testing days. Our thanks to all who have contributed to make the meals happen!

April 7-10 Is National Library Week!
Thank you Mrs. Moore for instilling a love of reading in our Students. We appreciate all you do!

H-BC Elementary PTO Walk-A-Thon was today!
All donation envelopes should have been turned in today. Students will be rewarded with Pride Points, a pizza party and a cookie party. The PTO thanks you for your support.

Summer Swimming Registration:
H-BC is pleased to again be coordinating Summer Swimming Lessons through Luverne Area Aquatics & Fitness. Registration forms were sent home. Lessons will be June 21-July 1, 8:45-9:25 am. Students 5 years and older, my register. The fee is $32. Parents may also sign their child up for the daily transportation for $20. Registration deadline is May 13.

Bike Helmet Donation:
Our thanks to the Rotary Club for donating bicycle helmets to our 3rd & 4th grade Students.

Elementary Music Concert
This year’s Music Concert will be pre-recorded and posted on line as well as channel 242. The Recording schedule is: K,1st & 2nd at 2pm on April 19th. 3rd, 4th & 5th at 2pm on April 20th.

If parents would like to watch the recording in-person, two members per family may attend. Information was sent home with details from Mrs. Comp.
