H-BC Elementary School Families:
With the weather being a bit frightful, H-BC is on an e-learning day. No in person classes today.
Remember the 2nd Quarter/1st Semester ends on Friday, January 22. Report Cards sent to parents via email on 1/27/2021.
Parent Teacher Conferences are set for Thursday, February 11 afternoon and evening.
Students will be exchanging Valentines on Thursday, February 11.
In Person Learning Continues:
Make sure to send your child to school each day with a mask. If you need assistance with more masks, please call Mrs. Plimpton at 507-673-2541 x10. Mrs. Plimpton will assist.
H-BC Elementary School Early Dismissals: Friday, January 22 and Wednesday, February 3.
PRIDE Store Bingo happens on Monday, January 18--BINGO winners are allowed a time of recess with a friend. Next Pride Store is set for February 5.

The Minnesota Energy Assistance Program (EAP) can help
Too many low-income Minnesotans have to choose between paying their energy bill and other necessities - food, medicine and healthcare. Minnesota’s Energy Assistance Program offers eligible residents help to pay their energy bills so they do not have to choose between life’s necessities. Spread the word.
Energy Assistance Program (EAP) facts
§ Renters & homeowners are eligible.
§ Assets such as the home are not considered in determining eligibility.
§ Grants range from $300 to $1,600, based on household size, income, and fuel cost.
§ The average grant is about $550.
§ In addition to the initial grant, additional Crisis funds are available to:
- Help pay a past due bill or get an emergency fuel delivery.
- Help homeowners get their broken furnace repaired or replaced.
How to apply for EAP
§ Households contact their local EAP service provider to apply for EAP.
§ Households find their EAP provider:
- By calling 1-800-657-3710 & entering their zip code, or
- On this list of service providers by county or tribe at https://mn.gov/commerce/consumers/consumer-assistance/energy-assistance/eap-provider.jsp.
§ 29 local EAP service providers including Community Action Programs, counties, tribal governments and non-profits serve all areas of the state.
