H-BC Secondary Families:

This week was American Education Week and we spent time celebrating public education and those people who serve to bring our students the BEST education possible.  Here are some pictures of our amazing secondary staff and some fun pictures from the week.

Senior Night for Volleyball.  We’re going to miss these seniors!

Parent Night for Volleyball.  Thank you parents for your support for your student-athlete and the HBC Volleyball Program.

American Education Games on Thursday and Friday.  Our students competed in 3 different games - Football Toss, Curling and Speed Skating.

Ag 9 Class completed their dairy unit with making some home-made ice cream.   Students studied different breeds of dairy cattle and also different facilities for processing milk.

COVID-19 Update - (New)

COVID Update--

90-Day Period: For 90 days after a positive COVID or antigen test, a person does not need to re-quarantine after exposure. The antibody test does NOT apply – it must be a PCR or antigen test.

10 days + 14 days: If there is a positive case in a household that cannot completely isolate from everyone (with a separate bedroom/bathroom), household members need to stay home during the case’s 10 day isolation period and then they start their 14 day quarantine period. In these situations, we may have a staff person or student who is out for 24 days. We encourage testing for these families because a positive test would change this to a 10 day isolation period.

DO NOT FORGET TO SCREEN YOUR STUDENT REMINDER: (Repeat)  Make sure to screen your child everyday, prior to coming to school!  Here is the link for Screener.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
