a la clase de español!
The objective of this course is
for each student to attain proficiency in
four areas:
- reading written Spanish
- understanding spoken Spanish
- writing understandable Spanish
- speaking understandable Spanish
To help each student achiveve
those objectives, class work will include:
- individual, pair and group activities
- listening exercises
- daily written work
- oral presentations,quizzes and tests
Materials
The text used in this class is Ven Conmigo
2 . Each student will be issued a copy.
The course will also be supplemented with
other materials to be determined by the
instructor.
Grading Scale
100%-96% = A 95%-92% = A-
91%-89% = B+ 88%-86% = B 85%-83% = B-
82%-80% = C+ 79%-77% = C 76%-74% = C-
73%-71% = D+ 70%-68% = D 67%-65% = D-
64% and below = Failing
Make-up policy
Each student will be given one day to make
up missed work for each day of class missed.
Make up for missed quizzes and tests will
be arranged with Señora Richards.
Late work is not accepted-no exceptions

Learning Spanish is fun and knowing Spanish
is useful! It is an important global language
as well as an increasingly common language
for life in the United States.
You will get out of this class what you
put in to it.In order to be successful,you
will need to spend time both in class and
out of class completing the assigned work.
