MILK PROGRAM
Students in grade K-3 have one milk break each day. Kindergarten milk is free under the Minnesota Kindergarten Milk Program.
The cost of milk for students in grades 1 - 3 is:
Grades 1 - 3: $34.00 per year
No milk break money refunds will be given to students for days missed or because they choose not to take milk on certain days.

HOT LUNCH PROGRAM
The school provides a hot lunch program that is available to students and staff. The elementary school uses a computerized lunch accounting system.

Each family will be issued a Family Account Number. Money sent for lunch will be deposited into one account per family. When your child eats lunch, the cost for the meal will be deducted from the family account. If a student wishes to buy a carton of milk to eat with a cold lunch, the cost of milk will be deducted from the account. Families will receive a statement indicating when they need to deposit money into the account. Checks should be made out to H-BC Elementary School.
Student lunch prices are: Adult lunch prices are:
$ 1.55 per day $ 2.50 per day
$ 7.75 per week $12.50 per week
$31.00 for 20 days $50.00 for 20 days
If your lunch balance is delinquent 20 days or more, your student will be served a sandwich. A hot lunch will not be provided for them.

Students may bring a sack lunch and eat in the lunchroom. Pop or other carbonated beverages are not permitted. Half pint cartons of milk are available to purchase for 25¢. Students may bring change or have the cost deducted from their account.

Families with limited resources may qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Applications are available in the elementary office.
