Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary School

My name is Michele Baker. I have taught at Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary for the past 15 years. I feel blessed to teach in such a great school district! I grew up on a farm between Hills and Beaver Creek and attended H-BC Elementary and High School. I received my Bachelor of Art degree in elementary and early childhood education from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I also have a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from SDSU in Brookings, South Dakota.

My husband Tim and I feel fortunate that our daughters attend H-BC. Peyton (12) is in 6th grade and enjoys reading, writing stories, and sports. Karlee (7 1/2) is in 2nd grade and enjoys reading and playing the piano. Abby (4) is in her second year at the Little Patriot Academy and loves to play make believe and do anything her big sisters are doing.
