

Homecoming week is in the books. The class had a lot of fun and showed a great deal of school spirit this past week.
We have been reviewing how to add and subtract large numbers in Math. We will test over this material next week.
The class is halfway through reading, The Cricket in Time Square.
Next week we will be reading and testing over Chapters 7-8.
Nouns are our target in English. We have been studying the different types of nouns. Some of the topics include: singular and plural nouns and possessive nouns.
The students are studying Native American cultures in Social Studies. We have taken a closer look at the Iroquois and Cheyenne. Next week’s topics will include: Pueblo and the Tlingit.
Spelling keeps rolling along. We will tackle Unit 5 next week.
The students are still studying the environment in Science.
