We had another nice week here at H-BC Elementary.  The end of the quarter is upon us.  Friday, November 1 is the last day of the First nine-week marking period.  

Early Dismissal-Presently, Friday, November 1 is an early 12:45 Dismissal for students.

Parent Teacher Conferences:  Are scheduled for Thursday, November 14 and Tuesday, November 19.  Reminders for scheduled times will be sent out week of November 4.

Fall Festival-The H-BC Elementary Fall Festival...a time of student celebration--playing games and winning prizes will occur the afternoon of Thursday, October 31.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in four different bouncy houses--sponsored by the PTO.  Grades K-2 will participate from 1 pm until 2 pm and grades 3-5 will participate from 2 pm until 3 pm.  The HBC Elementary PTO will assist organizing this event.  Thank you parents!

Please Donate or Volunteer:  If you are able and it works for you....please donate fun size candies to be used as prizes for the Fall Festival.  Drop off at the Elementary Office by Wednesday, October 30th.  If you'd like to volunteer your assistance with setup or helping the day of the Fall Festival please email me...t.holthaus@isd671.net

E-Learning Day- E-Learning Packet items will be in your child's school bag by Friday, November 1.

Pride Awards-As you can see by the picture a number of students were awarded with their pride point breakfast this morning:  Garrett Blank, Braxton Kaiser, Noah Engelkes, Penni Moore, Kinley Dwire, Samantha Van Maanen, and Sam Aanning.  We had  a great filling time!

American Education Week-- The week of November 18 HBC Elementary will celebrate American Education Week.  The week is a celebration of America's Public Schools.  Events that week are Thursday, November 21--Celebrate Blue Ribbon Award from 6:39-7:30 pm--treats and ceremony.  Also on Friday, November 22 is Grandparents/Special Persons Day.  More details to come.

Picture RetakesTuesday, November 5 is Picture Retake Day.
